Pilates is a fitness program based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century. It bases all its exercises on 7 principles and is a very slow moving and controlled type of exercise that builds flexibility, core strength, co-ordination and fluidity.

During a Pilates session you will not go red in the face or have sweat dripping off you so it is perfect for a lunch time class to get away from the office, but you will work harder than you actually feel that you are because of the way the exercises are designed. We tailor each exercise to you individually.

Here at the Lord’s School of Dance we are Pre and Post Natal Pilates specialists so we run essential fitness classes during and after your pregnancy.
